Frick Art & Historical Center To Hold Classic Car Road Rally
The H.C. Frick Horseless Carriage Tour Invites Drivers and Car Enthusiasts To Challenge Themselves, Autos, On Scenic 75-mile Course
PITTSBURGH, PA, June 29, 2007—The Frick Art & Historical Center recently announced that it will stage its first-ever road rally, the H.C. Frick Horseless Carriage Tour. This exciting event—held on Sunday, September 9, 2007 and organized and directed by renowned Rally Master Rick Beattie, winner of six Sports Car Club of America (SCCA) National Road Rally championships—starts at 8:30 a.m. at the Frick’s Car and Carriage Museum and ends at 3:00 p.m. at the West Overton Museums in Scottdale. The inaugural running of the rally will follow a 75-mile predetermined course over scenic and historic roadways between Pittsburgh and Scottdale, Westmoreland County.
